An Evening with Jason Atherton

This June we offer an extraordinary culinary experience.
The Artichoke is privileged to host what promises to be a phenomenal 'one night only' 
Guest Chef and Charity Event, with world renown, acclaimed Chef/Restaurateur Jason Atherton, combining Laurie's and Jason's individual talents to produce a 
Bespoke Six Course Tasting Menu. 

This special event is being held in aid of a local charity called DRUMBEATS.
The Ced Sharpley Fund was set up by two of our guests to raise money for 
the Intensive Therapy Unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. 
Funds are used to improve facilities and patient care at the unit.

Immerse yourself in the buzzing atmosphere, feel the electricity in the air 
and experience Laurie, Ben and The Artichoke Team alongside Jason delivering a brilliant service. Have the opportunity to chat with the chefs whilst enjoying the gastronomic menu, which will include some of Jason's most celebrated signature dishes. 

Jason Atherton started his career by working under great chefs including Pierre Koffmann, Nico Landenis, Marco Pierre White and Ferran Adria at el Bulli. 
He joined the Gordon Ramsay Group in 2001 as the Executive Chef for Verre in Dubai, 
followed by the opening of Maze
 in London in 2005, launching what was to become the most successful brand in the group. In 2010 Jason launched his own restaurant company, Jason Atherton Ltd. with the flagship Pollen Street Social,
which was awarded a coveted Michelin star within just six months of opening. 
It was awarded 4 AA Rosettes by the AA Guide, named The Good Food Guide’s ‘Best New Restaurant’ and Jason was named 'Chef Of The Year’ by Caterer and Hotelkeeper
Jason Atherton's unstoppable The Social Company has since expanded taking the City by storm venues include Little Social, Social Eating House, Berners Tavern and City Social, with openings also in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Dubai and most recent a New York Edition partnership in Midtown due to be launched this Spring.

The evening will commence with a Charles Heidsieck Champagne Reception with 'Snacks', followed by six specially crafted dishes by the two chefs
complementing each other's styles.
Each course will be accompanied by a matching wine exclusively selected by Laure Patry, Executive Head Sommelier of The Social Company and our very own Restaurant Manager/Sommelier  Matteo Scaccabarozzi.

After dinner there will be a live auction, giving a fantastic opportunity to bid for the kindly donated unique gourmet 'lots'.

Tickets for this unique occasion are strictly limited and priced at
£ 195.00 per person
to include champagne, snacks on arrival, six course tasting menu, matching wine flight,
coffee and hand made petits fours and mineral water; 
as well as a signed copy of Jason Atherton's current cook book Social Suppers,
per couple, as a memento of the evening.
